Our Mission

Mission: We believe in we.
Each entity and department is responsible for helping our patients physically and emotionally recover. I would say our Trauma Recovery Center (TRC) has taken that one step further and our value system is to move from surviving to thriving.

More about our Organization

Population served: TRC works with victims of crime.
For the most part, we are getting our population through our Level 1 Trauma Center. This means we’re getting a lot of folks with gunshot wounds, assaults, stabbings, domestic violence, etc. We’re also doing screenings for folks that test positive for alcohol and drugs, doing PTSD screenings, and other screenings at the time of intake.
While the primary injury is what we’re going to start with, it’s also important that we recognize that there may have been something you’ve never disclosed to someone and we want to be there as a support system.
Since Grant Medical Center is a Level One trauma center, we not only get people from Franklin Country, but we also get people from fifty other counties in Ohio. This means we’re working with people that have been removed and might need assistance with follow-up medical interventions.
