Our Mission
take the information and research at the university level, and extend it into counties throughout the state through evidence-based programming. Our four branches of extension are Agriculture and Natural Resources, Community Development, Youth Development, and Family Consumer Sciences. Family education and nutrition happens in the Family Consumer Sciences branch, as well as financial planning, and co-parenting. There is programming on food preservation, and most recently, on mental health first-aid. So, this fits in perfectly with our mission, and also helps extend the work of the CARE Coalition throughout the state of Ohio.

PROSPER stands for promoting school, community, and university partnerships to enhance resilience. But, its all about our response to the opioid epidemic.
